This website has been created to share our adventures and photos with our friends and family members living in Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington, and Texas who can't often visit us.

We are happily settled into our new home in Nevada.  Now we say, "Home means Nevada," which just happens to be the state motto.

We are getting involved in the community here.  Dixie has joined a great community-oriented organization called the Lamoille Women's Club and has dived into helping that group with their many charitable projects.  Support for BrightPath, northeastern Nevada's only adult daycare center in Elko, Nevada, will be the Club's major community service project for 2010 - 2012.  The club will also continue their support of Harbor House, the Elko Animal Shelter, FISH (friends in Service Helping), food bank, soup kitchen, scholarships to local high school and college students, and other efforts.

If you'd like to learn more about the Lamoille Women's Club, their history, their projects, and their members, go to the Lamoille Women's Club website, which Dixie created and maintains for the Club.
